Summary
The free-standing flow injection valve is self contained with
an integral sensitive control circuit. It is particularly useful
for individual laboratory built flow injection analysers with
manual injection. The valve requires only 12VDC to operate and
an external switch. Fill and inject modes are indicated by green
and red 'LED' indicators. A mounting Boss enables fitting to
a laboratory retort stand. Variable loop volumes are available.
Product Details
The motorised injection valve manufactured by Burkard Scientific,
is a self-contained unit requiring only 12V DC and an external
control signal to operate.
Designed for use with a variety of analytical systems it has
been shown to maintain good chromatographic peaks after years
of use. A built-in circuit ensures positive change-over and hold;
and LED indicators confirm the fill or inject condition.
Samples come in contact with only PTFE and stainless steel components,
and loop volumes from a few microlitres to several millilitres
are offered. The valve can be set up in any desired position
from the mounting boss provided.
A sequential timer is available as a power source and convenient
option for loop-loading and injection timing.
This attractive sampling system is ideal for analytical processes
such as the Burkard sequential column carousel (ADEM) and flow
injection methods.
